NOTIFICATION

The 7th September, 2020

No. 18/07/17-5hg2/1645.-Whereas the Industrial Policy 2003 provided concessions for setting up of

Mega Housing Projects in the State of Punjab.

1.

Whereas Mega Housing Project of M/S Manohar Infrastructure & Constructions Pvt. Ltd., New

Chandigarh for an area of 103 acres falling in villages Dhanoura, Mastgarh and Mullanpur Garibdass

Distt. SAS Nagar was approved by the Empowered Committee in its meeting held on 22-03-2013.

Subsequently, agreement was signed on behalf of the Government on 14-06-2013 and additional area

of 36.77 acres and 94.60 acres was added vide supplementary agreement on 12-12-2014 & 16-06-2016

respectively amounting to a total area of 234.37 acres.

Whereas the promoter has been granted change of land use for an area measuring 192.459 acres. Revised

layout plan for an area of 141.48 acres (including 2.95 aces area under Revenue Rastas) has been

approved by the Chief Town Planner, Punjab vide letter No.5464/CTP(PB)/MPM-150 dated 10-10-2019

and 7.593 acres has been reserved for EWS.

An area of 109.58 acres has already been granted exemption under section 44(2) of PAPRA vide memo

No.4777/ CTP(Pb)/ MRP-150 dated 06-10-2015.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested under section - 44(2) of the Punjab Apartment &

Property Regulation Act,1995 (Amendment) Act, 2014, exemption is hereby granted for remaining

21.357 acres of land of this project from the provisions of this Act except Section 5(11), Sections 6 to

Section 20, Section 32 and Sections 36 to Section 39, subject to the same terms and conditions as

mentioned in exemption vide notification No.18/07/2017-5Hg2/431 dated 25-01-2017.

The promoter shall strictly abide by the aforesaid legal agreements executed with the Government of

Punjab as well as Instructions/ Notifications issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development,

from time to time.
