NOTIFICATION
The 17th September, 2020
No. 5/25/2016/MEO/DA/2320.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Rule 3 of the Delimitation of
Wards of Municipal Corporation Order, 1995 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of
Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of
fresh delimitation of wards of Municipal Corporation, Moga, District Moga :-
1.
Deputy Commissioner, Moga or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf;
2.
Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Moga;
3.
Member(s) of the Punjab Legislative Assembly representing the Municipal Corporation, Moga wholly or
partly;
4.
Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Ferozepur;
5.
Additional/Joint Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Moga;
6.
Sh. Nirmal Singh S/o Sh. Sukhdev Singh, Ward No. 06, Model Colony, Dosanjh Road, Moga, Mob: 99144-
99117. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/25/2016/MEO/DA/2311, Dated
17-09-2020 ).
7.
Sh. Hardeep Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Kumar, House No. 1138-B, Ward No. 01, Teachers Colony, Zira
Road, Moga. Mob: 97810-36080 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/25/2016/
MEO/DA/2311, Dated 17-09-2020 ).
2.
As per provisions of the Sub Clause (1) of Clause 5 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Corporation
Order, 1995, the Director Local Government Punjab shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence,
Chairman may be elected amongst from the members present in the meeting.
