NOTIFICATION
The 18th September, 2020
No. 5/1/2016/MEO/DA/2396.-Whereas the Municipal Limit of Nagar Panchayat Bhagta Bhai
Ka has been Excluding Extended Area by the Government and this Municipality is due for election in the year
2020 and the number of elected members thereof are required to be determined in accordance with population
defined in Section 3 (11a) of the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8 and sub-section (3)(i) of Section
12 of the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911 (Punjab Act No. 14 of 2017) read with amended rules 3 and 4 of the
Determination of the number of Elected Members and Reservation of Offices of Presidents of Municipalities
Rules, 1994 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to re-determine
the number of elected members and reservation thereof, on the basis of published population figures of census
2011against the below Nagar Panchayat, as indicated in the Schedule, namely:
