NOTIFICATION

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2634.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of
the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other
powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board
consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Lohian Khas
District Jalandhar.
1.
Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
2.
Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Lohian Khas.
3.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Shahkot;
4.
Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jalandhar;
5.
Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Lohian Khas;
6.
Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Lohian Khas;
7.
Sh. Jagjit Singh S/o Sh Harbhajan Singh, Ward No. 8, Lohian Khas, Teh. Shahkot, Jalandhar. Mob.

As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-
Divisional Magistrate, Shahkot shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall
elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
