NOTIFICATION
The 1st October, 2020
No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2644.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of
the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other
powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board
consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Hariana
District Hoshiarpur :-
1.
Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
2.
Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Hariana District
Hoshiarpur;
3.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur;
4.
Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jalandhar;
5.
Administrator, Municipal Council, Hariana;
6.
Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Hariana;
7.
Sh. Sunil Kapila S/o Sh. Ravi Kapila, Delhi Gate Mohalla, Ward No. 4, Hariana (member nominated
by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO /DA/2527, Dated 01-10-2020). and
8.
Sh. Chander Mohan Mishra S/o Sh. Ram Lal, Main Bazar, Hariana Distt. Hoshiarpur Pin Code
144208 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 2527,
Dated 01-10-2020 ).
2.
As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-
Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present
shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
