NOTIFICATION
The 1st October, 2020
No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2654.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of
the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other
powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board
consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Sham
Churasi District Hoshiarpur :-
1.
Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
2.
Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Sham Churasi
District Hoshiarpur;
3.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur;
4.
Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jalandhar;
5.
Administrator, Municipal Council, Sham Churasi;
6.
Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Sham Churasi;
7.
Sh. Nirmal Kumar S/o Sh. Hussan Lal, P.O. Sham Churasi, Distt. Hoshiarpur. (member nominated
by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/ DA/2527 , Dated 01-10-2020). and
8.
Sh. Kuljit Singh S/o Sh. Mani Singh, Ward No. 4, Sham Churasi, Distt. Hoshiarpur. (member
nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2527, Dated 01-10-2020).
2.
As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-
Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present
shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
