NOTIFICATION
The 12th October, 2020
No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/3195.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of
the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other
powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board
consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Chaoke
District Bathinda.
1.
Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
2.
Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Chaoke.
3.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Maur;
4.
Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Bathinda;
5.
Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Chaoke;
6.
Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Chaoke;
7.
Sh. Balwinder Singh Jaildar S/o Sh. Hardyal Singh, Ward No. 4, Near Badiyale Wala Adda,
Chaoke, Distt. Bathinda. Mob. No. 98156-49200 (member nominated by the Government vide
Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/3057, Dated12th October 2020).

Sh. Ram Singh Ex MC, S/o Sh. Nachhatar Singh, Ward No. 8, Near Dashmesh Public School,
Chaoke, Distt. Bathinda Mob No. 93728-00002 (member nominated by the Government vide
Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 3057, Dated 12t October 2020).

As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Maur shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall
elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
