NOTIFICATION
The 19th January, 2021
No. 5/1/2021-1TC/67.- Whereas the Government is of the opinion that the building mentioned in the
Schedule given below, has not been declared by or under the law made by the Parliament, to be a building of National
Importance under Section 3 of the Ancient Monument Preservation Act, 1904 (Central Act No. VII of 1904).
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Punjab
Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1964 (Punjab Act No. 20 of
1964) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab proposes to declare the aforesaid
building to be an Ancient and Historical monuments and to further declare it to be a protected monument.
Notice is hereby given that any person may, within a period of two months from the date of publication
of this notification in the Official Gazette, file objections, if any, as required under the said provisions of
sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act of 1964, before the Additional Chief Secretary to Government of
Punjab, Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Plot No. 3, Sector 38-A, Chandigarh.
A copy of this notification can be seen on the notice board affixed at said building so specified in the said
Schedule, namely:-
