NOTIFICATION

The 1st February, 2021

No. 06/09/2019-6HG1/208.-Whereas, preliminary notification no. 6/09/2019-6HG1/692, dated

09.03.2020 was issued under Section 11 of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013" for acquisition of land for the public purpose namely

"Acquisition of 6.2813 Acre of land for construction of 1.90 km long and 45 feet wide Road (Villages Rangian

and Dehlon) from Dehlon Bypass to connect Pakhowal, Malerkotla Road and Hind Terminal Multi-Model

Logistic Park to avoid congestion on existing road in Village Rangian and Dehlon in District Ludhaina”. This

Notification was published in the Punjab Government Gazette dated 09.03.2020 and in the two daily newspapers

‘‘The Tribune’’ (English version) dated 20.03.2020 and “Ajit.” (Punjabi version) dated 20.03.2020

The Public Notice regarding the substance of this notification in local language (Punjabi) was got published in

the locality as per Rapat no. 305 dated 01.06.2020 (Village Rangian dated 01.06.2020), Rapat no.295

(Village Dehlon dated 01.06.2020) of the Roznamcha Waqiati of the Patwar Circle, in the office of Sub-

Tehsil Dehlon, Tehsil Ludhiana (East), District Ludhiana. This notification was also uploaded on the website of

GLADA, Ludhiana.

Whereas, Governor of Punjab is satisfied that the land specified below is needed by the Government at

public expenses for public purpose, namely "Acquisition of 6.2813 Acre of land for construction of 1.90 km long

and 45 feet wide Road (Villages Rangian and Dehlon) from Dehlon Bypass to connect Pakhowal, Malerkotla

Road and Hind Terminal Multi-Model Logistic Park to avoid congestion on existing road in Village Rangian and

Dehlon in District Ludhaina” in accordance with the duly notified Local Plan Area of Ahmedgarh city vide

notification No. 12/12/2010-4HG2/1956 dated 21/06/2010 & approved drawing No. DTP (S) 327/2010 dated:

12.05.2010. In this connection, based on the census survey of affected families, a Rehabilitation and Resettlement

Scheme was prepared as per provisions of Section 16 of the said Act, by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Ludhiana

(East)-cum Administrator, Rehabilitation which has been reviewed by the Collector as per provisions of Section

17 of the Act.

Whereas, Commissioner, Rehabilitation and Resettlement has approved the R&R Scheme on

24-11-2020 and forwarded the said report to be made available to the Public and uploaded on the website of

Punjab Government as per section 18 of the said act. The summary of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme

includes benefits such as choice of annuity onetime payment at the lump sum rate of Rs. 5,00,000/- to each

affected family, Resettlement Allowance of Rs. 50,000/-. The Stamp duty and the other fees payable for

registration of land or house allotted to the affected family, if any, shall be borne by requiring body.

This declaration is made under the provisions of Section 19 of "The Right to Fair Compensation

and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act. 2013."

And under the provisions of Section 21(1) of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in

Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013", Public notice is made to whom it may

concern that the Government intends to take possession of the land, and that claims to compensations and

Rehabilitation and Resettlement for all interests in such land along with their objections, if any to the measurement

made under Section 20 within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice, be made to the Land Acquisition

Collector-cum-Additional Chief Administrator in the office of the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority,

Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana who is hereby directed to take possession of the said land.

Village Rangian and Dehlon, Tehsil Ludhiana, District Ludhiana is hereby declared as “Resettlement

area” for this project. Plan of the land may be inspected in the offices of Land Acquisition Collector (Additional

Chief Administrator) in the office of Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.
