The 18th January, 2021

No.WSSD-BR201/150/2020-2BR2 I/132446/2021.-The Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the

following new pay scales for all prospective recruitments/appointments - Direct recruitments/compassionate

appointment in the following cadres of the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation with effect from the date

of notification:-

The grant of the aforesaid pay scales are subject to the following conditions, namely:-

(i)

The instructions issued by the Department of Finance vide letter No.7 /204/2015- 4F.P.1/60,

dated 15.1.2015 and No. 7/204/205-4FP1/853793, dated 4.10.2016 shall be applicable in toto.

(ii)

Except the aforesaid Basic Pay as indicated above, the decision regarding grant of other allowances

shall be taken later on.

(iii)

After receipt of the report of the 6th Punjab Pay Commission, no further revision shall be affected

in these pay scales for the newly recruited persons to the aforementioned categories of posts.

This is issued as per instructions of the Department of Finance issued vide Memo No. 7/42/2020-

5FP1/741-746 dated 17-07-2020, No.7/87/2020-5FP1/1145, dated 29.10.2020.
