The 9th February, 2021

No. Comm/ Logistics Cell/2021/407-B.-The Government of Punjab is pleased to constitute a State

Logistics Cell under the chairmanship of Administrative Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Punjab for overall

development of logistics sector in the State of Punjab. The composition of State Logistics Cell shall be as under:

The State Logistic Cell will perform the entire task related to overall development of logistics sector but

not limited to the following:

1.

To prepare the draft integrated logistics plan.

2.

To facilitate the investors in obtaining regulatory clearances from concern departments of State Government

and Government of India.

3.

To coordinate with concern allied departments for the overall development of logistics sector in the State.

4.

To maintain data of warehouse facilities setup in the State of Punjab.

5.

To frame the State logistics policy in line with the national logistics policy from time to time.

6.

To implement any other tasks/directions issued by State Logistics Coordination Committee for the

development of integrated logistics sector in the State of Punjab.

7.

The State Logistics Cell may co-opt. and private / official / expert members as required for the overall

development of logistics sector.
