NOTIFICATION

The 16th February, 2021

No. RCS/EDU&TRG/EI/MILKFED/1330-A.-Where as the Governor of Punjab is satisfied that it

is necessary to exempt the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation Limited (MILKFED),

Chandigarh from the proviso to sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the Punjab State Cooperative

Societies Act,1961 for furthering the objects specified in the bye-laws of the Punjab State Cooperative Milk

Producer's Federation Limited (MILKFED), Chandigarh.

Board of the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation Limited (MILKFED), Chandigarh

had expired on 21.7.2020. Registrar, Cooperative Societies Punjab, was appointed as Administrator of the

Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation Limited (MILKFED), Chandigarh on 29.7.2020. Registrar,

Cooperative Societies , Punjab joined the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation

Limited(MILKFED) as Administrator on 3.8.2020. The term of Administrator expired on 3.2.2021.

Now, therefore, in excercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Punjab State Cooperative

Societies Act,1961 (Punjab Act No. 25 of 1961), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to exempt the Punjab State

Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation Limited (MILKFED), Chandigarh from the provisions of proviso to

sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the aforesaid act. This exemption is being granted for the

extension of term of the Administrator in the Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation

Limited(MILKFED), Chandigarh.

Further to the above, the term of the Registrar, Cooperative Societies Punjab, as Administrator of the

Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producer's Federation Limited (MILKFED), Chandigarh is extended till the

elections of Milkfed are held.
