No. G.S.R. 18/P.A.17/1887/S.155/Amd.(22)/2021.-With reference to the Government

of Punjab, Department of Revenue and Rehabilitation (Land Revenue-I Branch),

Notification No. G.S.R. 102/P.A.17/1887/Ss. 155 and 156/Amd./2020, dated 8th December,

2020 and in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section

155 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (Punjab Act No. XVII of 1887), and all other

powers enabling me in this behalf, I, Viswajeet Khanna, Additional Chief Secretary-cum-

Financial Commissioner Revenue, Punjab hereby make the following rules further to

amend the Punjab Land Revenue Rules,1909, namely:-

RULES

These rules may be called the Punjab Land Revenue (First Amendment) Rules, 2021.

In the Punjab Land Revenue Rules, 1909, after rule 71-B, the following rule shall

be added, namely:-

"71-C. Sewa Kendras: Notwithstanding anything contained in rule 71, the

computerized copies of revenue record duly attested by a person authorised in

this regard by the Director, Department of Governance Reforms shall also be

furnished from the Sewa Kendras in the State of Punjab on demand by any

person after charging the prescribed fee.

Explanation.- For the purpose of this rule, the expression 'Sewa Kendras' here

means a center setup by the Government of Punjab, Department of Governance

Reforms for the purpose of providing various services to the citizens.".

NOTIFICATION

The 1st March, 2021

No. G.S.R. 19/P.A.17/1887/S.28/2021.-The following draft of rules further to

amend the Punjab Revenue Patwaris, Class III Service Rules, 1966, which the Governor

of Punjab proposes to make, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the

Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (Punjab Act 17 of 1887), and all other powers enabling

him in this behalf, is published as required by section 156 of the aforesaid Act, for information

of the persons likely to be affected thereby.

Notice is hereby given that the draft will be taken into consideration by the

Government on or after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date of publication

of this notification in the Official Gazette, together with an objection or suggestion, which

may be received by the Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue to Government of Punjab,

Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management, from any person before

the expiry of the period so specified with respect to the said draft, namely:-

DRAFT RULES

These rules may be called the Punjab Revenue Patwaris, Class III Service

(Amendment) Rules, 2021.

In the Punjab Revenue Patwaris, Class III Service Rules, 1966, in Appendix A,

in item 1, for the letters, figures and signs "3,120-100-3,220-110-3,600-120-4,

260-140-4,400-150-5,000-160-5,160", the following shall be substituted,

namely:-

"Pay Matrix Scale as Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission with

Initial Pay of Rs. 19900:

Provided that the Patwaris, who are working as such before 17.07.2020

shall continue to draw salary in the previous pay scales."
