NOTIFICATION

The 8th February, 2021

No.06/06/2021(12)-5LG2/150.-The Development Scheme of Improvement Trust, Ludhiana for an

area measuring 400 acres known as “Model Town Extension Part-II Scheme” bearing layout plan drawing no.

DTP (L)118/74 dated 11.10.1974 was notified by the Government under section 42 of the Punjab Town

Improvement Act, 1922 vide notification no. 2445-3C1-75/16610 dated 21.05.1975.

There after, the Development Scheme was amended under section 43 of the Punjab Town Improvement

Act, 1922 vide notification no. 8/55/2003-1LGII/14743 dated 08.09.2005 to the extent as shown in the part

layout plan of the scheme bearing drawing no. LIT/41/2005 dated 10.06.2005.

Now in exercise of the powers conferred under section 43 of the Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922

& all others powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to accord the further

amendment in the notified scheme layout plan drawing no. LIT/41/2005 dated 10.06.2005 as resolved by the

Improvement Trust, Ludhiana vide resolution No. 113 dated 29.10.2020 to the extent as shown in the part

layout plan of the scheme bearing drawing no. LIT/49/2020 dated 23.11.2020 only for 2000 sq.yds earmarked

for political parties office adopted by the Improvement Trust, Ludhiana vide resolution No. 6 dated 08.01.2021.

The Development of the area comprised in the part layout plan drawing no. LIT/49/2020 dated 23.11.2020 shall

be regulated by the provisions of the Schedule of Clauses already notified with the scheme under section 42 of

the said Act.
