NOTIFICATION

The 4th February, 2021

No. TRAN-TRP1012/46/2020-3TNI/139560.-In accordance with Government of Punjab, Department

of Finance (Finance Personnel-I Branch) letter no.7/42/2020-5FP1/741-746 dated 17.07.2020 and as per the

pay scales recommended by the 5th Pay Commission, which were admissible to various categories of posts in

the department of transport (Commercial Wing) w.e.f. 01.01.2006 and further on the basis of the 7th Central

Pay Commission and recommendations of the committee constituted by Finance Department, the Governor of

Punjab, is pleased to grant the following higher revised pay scales for future recruitments as indicated in column

no. 4 in respect of following posts, with immediate effect:-

2. The following conditions will be applicable to the posts mentioned in column no. 2 of the table above:-

i)

The instructions issued by the Government of Punjab, Department of Finance vide their letter no.

7/204/2015-4F.P.1/60 Dated 15.01.2015 and 7/204/2015-4F.P.1/853793 Dated 04.10.2016 shall

be applicable verbatim.

ii)

The decision regarding various other allowances admissible to these pay scales, except the Basic

Pay, shall be taken subsequently.

iii)

There will be no revision in these pay scale/matrix for the newly recruited persons to the

aforementioned categories of posts after the Sixth Pay Commission submits its report.

iv)

This pay matrix shall be applicable only to the prospective recruitments done as per Finance

Department instructions dated 17.07.2020

3. This letter issues with the approval accorded by the Government of Punjab, Department of Finance vide

their I.D. letter No.7/127/2020-1FP1/145 dated 01.02.2021 and I.D. letter No.7/87/2020-5FP1/1145 dated

29.10.2020.
