NOTIFICATION

The 12th February, 2021

No. 3/2/2011-2T2(PFII)/208.-In exercise of the powers conferred by -section 3 of the Punjab Motor Vehicles

Taxation Act, 1924 (Punjab Act, No. 4 of 1924) amended, 2007) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf,

the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the partial modification in Government of Punjab, Department of Transport,

Notification No. 2/2/2011-2T2/1475 dated 31 August 2012, No.3/2/2011-2T2/83503/1 dated 8th August 2013,

No.3/2/2011-2T2/17 dated 7th October 2014, and No.3/2/2011-2T2/1061555/1 dated 08.09.2017 as under:-

AMENDMENT

In the said notification under heading Personalized Vehicles Sr. No. 1 and 2 shall be substituted as under :-

Personalized Motor Vehicles

(i)

If the value of the motor cycle does

Seven percent of the actual price of the motor cycle

not exceed rupees One Lakh

(excluding taxes, if any) in lump-sum

(ii)

If the value of the motor cycle

Nine percent of the actual price of the motor cycle

exceed rupees One Lakh

(excluding taxes, if any) in lump-sum

2.

(iii) Personalized Vehicles

(a) Actual price of the four wheeled

Nine percent of the actual price of the motor Vehicles

Personalized upto 15 Lakh

(excluding taxes, if any) in lump-sum

(b) Actual price of the four wheeled

Eleven percent of the actual price of the Motor Vehicles

Personalized vehicle above 15 Lakh

(excluding taxes, if any) in lump-sum

2.

This notification will be come into force with immediately effect from 15.02.2021
