NOTIFICATION

The 12th March, 2021

No. RCS/EDU&TRG/EI/Admn./3027.-Where as the Governor of Punjab is satisfied that it is

necessary to exempt the Karnana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Karnana, Nawanshahr, Punjab from

the proviso to sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the Punjab State Cooperative Societies Act,1961

for furthering the objects specified in the bye-laws of the Karnana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd.

Karnana, Nawanshahr, Punjab.

Board of the Karnana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Karnana, Nawanshahr, Punjab had

expired on 27.11.2019. The term of Administrator of the Karnana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd.

Karnana, Nawanshahr, Punjab was expired on 17.9.2020.

Now, therefore, in excercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Punjab State Cooperative

Societies Act,1961 (Punjab Act No. 25 of 1961), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to exempt the Karnana

Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Karnana, Nawanshahr, Punjab from the provisions of proviso to sub

clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the aforesaid act. This exemption is being granted for the

appointment of supervisory committee in Karnana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Karnana, Nawanshahr,

Punjab for day to day work and to follow up court cases of the society.

Further to the above, three member committee consisting of concerned Branch Manager, concerned

Inspector (Audit) and concerned Area Inspector, co-opertaive society is constituted as Supervisory Committee

to run the day to day affairs of the Karnana Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Karnana, Nawanshahr,

Punjab.
