NOTIFICATION

The 24th May, 2021

No.SED-SECY0GENL/195/21-O/o SE/109.-1.0 Consequent upon the decision taken by the Council

of Ministers in its meeting held on 26.2.2021 in respect of memorandum presented by the Department of

Industries and Commerce, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to transfer the Punjab Smart Connect scheme

from the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare to the Department of School Education commencing from

the financial year of 2021-22.

2.0

Further, as per the approval of the Council of Minister dated 26.04.2021, the eligible beneficiaries shall

be as per following and para 4.0 of the scheme dated 08.02.2019 may be read as follows-

Beneficiaries

"Eligible regular students (boys & girls) studying in class XII in Government Schools during

the Financial Year 2020-2021."
