NOTIFICATION

No.PWD-BR307/33/2020-1BR3 I/187390/2021.-Whereas preliminary notification no. PWD-BR
307/33/2020-1BR3 I/127781/2021 dated 07.01.2021 was issued under Section 11(1) of “The Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013” for acquisition
of land for the public purpose namely “For Construction of New BG Railway Line from Bhanupali to Bilaspur-
Beri”. This notification was uploaded on the website of punjab.gov.in on 12.01.2021 and also published in two
daily newspapers “Ajit” (Punjabi version) & “The Tribune” (English version) dated 14.01.2021 and 16.01.2021
respectively.
Whereas the Governor of Punjab is satisfied that Land specified below is needed by the government at
public expenses for public purpose, namely “For Construction of New BG Railway Line from Bhanupali to
Bilaspur-Beri”. In this connection, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Scheme is not required being a linear project.
This notification is made under the provisions of Section 19 of “The Right to Fair Compensation and
Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013”, to all whom it may concern and
under the provision of Section 21 of “The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,
Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013”, the Land Aquisition Collector, Sri Anandpur Sahib is hereby directed
to take possession of the said land.
