CORRIGENDUM

No. 9/6/2021-AS4/637.-In supersession of the orders issued vide notification No.1/6/94-AS5/412736/

3-5 dated 11/02/2015, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to designate the Director Industries & Commerce,

Punjab at O/o Udyog Bhawan, Sector-17, Chandigarh as Export Commissioner for the State of Punjab.

2.

The Export commissioner shall perform following functions:

a)

Implementation of state Export policy.

b)

Facilitating the visit of delegations of manufacturers/exporters from the state of punjab to overseas

countries under the scheme of Ministry of MSME namely International Co- operation scheme.

c)

Implementation of central Government schemes namely "Trade Infrastructure for Export Scheme (TIES)

& any new export related scheme, notified by GoI from time to time.

d)

Ensuring the state participation in the India lnternational Trade Fair (IITF), New Delhi and other such

trade fairs.

e)

Monitoring the progress of the Apparel park set up under scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP).

f)

Implementation of punjab state Export plan 2021-26.

g)

To act as Member Convener to convene State Level Export Promotion Committee (SLEPC).
