NOTIFICATION

The 15th June, 2021

No. 10/51/2017-1T2/734.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 42-A of the Punjab Motor

Vehicles Rules, 1989, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to

partially amend the Government of Punjab, Department of Transport (Transport-II Branch) Notification No. 10/

51/2017-1T2/1163 dated 19th October, 2020, namely:-

AMENDMENT

1.

In the said notification, under the heading the process of e-auction:-

(i)

in Sr. no. 7, for entry “The e-auction participation charges will be Rs.1000/-per number. The

charges shall be deposited by the owner online, for participating in e-auction, which shall be non-refundable”,

the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

"The e-auction participation charges for single digit registration number (i.e. 0001 to 0009) will be

Rs. 5000/- per number and for all other registration mark of choice Rs. 1000/- per number in each series.

The charges shall be deposited by the owner online, for participating in e-auction, which shall be non-

refundable.

2.

This notification will come into force w.e.f. 19.06.2021.
