NOTIFICATION

The 22nd June, 2021

No. S.O. 68/C.A.59/1988/S.100/Amd./2021.- With reference to

Government of Punjab, Department of Transport (Transport II Branch),

Notification No. S.O. 48/C.A. 59/1988/Ss. 99, 100 and 102/Amd./2020, dated

the 21st October, 2020, and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 100

of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act No. 59 of 1988), and all other

powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make

the following Scheme further to amend the Punjab Transport Scheme 2018,

namely:-

SCHEME

1.

(1)

This Scheme may be called the Punjab Transport (Amendment)

Scheme, 2021.

(2)

It shall come into force on and with effect from date of its

publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Punjab Transport Scheme 2018, in clause 9, for item No. (iii),

the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"(iii) the operator furnishing an undertaking to comply with

all the terms and provisions of the present Scheme except

that prescribed in Clause 3 E."
