CORRIGENDUM

The 17th July, 2021

No.PWD-BR307/2/2021-1BR3 I/208227/2021(1).-For the purpose of acquisition of land for the

Public Purpose namely construction of New rail link between Ferozpur-Patti (by connecting Mallanwala Khas

on Jalandhar-Ferozpur section and Gharyala on Patti-Khem Karan section) project notification bearing

No. PWD-BR307/12/2020-1BR3 /I/170257/2021, Dated 19.04.2021 was issued under Section 11 of The Right

to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013.

In the said notification the time period for submission of objections concerning land acquisition to the

Land Acquisition Collector got erroneously written as thirty days, whereas the act provides a time period of

sixty days from the date of issuance of notification under Section 11 within which the objections are to be

submitted to the office of Land Acquisition Collector concerned.

Therefore, hereby, this corrigendum is issued to substitute the line "Any person interested who has any

objection to the acquisition of any land in the locality may within thirty days of the publication of this notification

file an objection in writing before the Competent Authority i.e. (Land Acquisition Collector-cum-Sub Divisional

Magistrate, Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran." In the aforesaid notification with the line "line" Any person

interested who has any objection to the acquisition of any land in the locality may within sixty days of the

publication of this notification file an objection in writing before the Competent Authority i.e. (Land Acquisition

Collector-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran."
