ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR OF PUNJAB

Having regard to the circumstances prevailing in the State and in exercise of powers conferred

by Sub Section (3) of Section 3 of National Security Act, 1980 (Act No. 65 of 1980) and all other

enabling powers in this behalf, Governor of Punjab is pleased to empower all the District Magistrates

and the Commissioners of Police in the State, within their respective jurisdiction, to exercise the

powers conferred by Sub Section (2) of Section 3 of the National Security Act, 1980 for a period of

three months starting from 17-3-2023.
