NOTIFICATION

The 4th August, 2022

No. PERS-IASOCFP/2/2020-3-S/404850.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 21 of

the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, (Central Act No. 2 of 1974), the Governor of Punjab is hereby pleased

to further authorize the Deputy Commissioners in the State of Punjab to appoint the Gazetted Officers in the

State of Punjab, drawing the grade pay of Rs 5000 or above (as per Pre revised Pay Scales) as an Executive

Magistrate to be known as Special Executive Magistrate for maintenance of law and order with regard to the

situation arising out of spread of Corona virus and other critical issues in the State of Punjab, beyond 30-06-2022

upto 31-12-2022.
