NOTIFICATION
The 25th May, 2023
No. G.S.R. 64/P.A.23/ 1961/S.43/Amd.(38)/2023.- In exercise of the
powers conferred by section 43 of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets
Act, 1961 (Punjab Act No. 23 of 1961), and all other powers enabling him in
this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules
further to amend the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board (Group-C)
Service Rules, 1989, namely:-
RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing
Board (Group-C) (First Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
In the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board (Group-C) Service
Rules, 1989, in Appendix ‘B’, –
(i)
in the serial No. 62, under column 4, in item (i), after the words “or any
other institute”, the words and bracket
"or higher qualification in the same line of Diploma or Degree
(Architectural) or its equivalent" shall be inserted ;
(ii)
in the serial No. 62 A, under column 4, in item (i), after the words and
bracket “National Council for Vocational Training (National Trade
Certificate)”, the words and bracket
"or higher qualification in the same line of Diploma or Degree
(Civil) or its equivalent " shall be inserted;
(iii)
in the serial No.62 B, under column 4, in item (i), after the words and
bracket “National Council for Vocational Training (National Trade
Certificate)”, the words and bracket
"or higher qualification in the same line of Diploma or Degree
(Civil or Mechanical) or its equivalent " shall be inserted; and

(iv)
in the serial No.62 C, under column 4, in item (i), after the words and
bracket “National Council for Vocational Training (National Trade
Certificate) or its equivalent qualification in Architecture and Town
Planning”, the words and bracket
"or higher qualification in the same line of Diploma or Degree
(Civil or Architecture) or its equivalent " shall be inserted.
