NOTIFICATION

The 31st May, 2023

No. RCS/Planning/Insp/258.–Government of India has approved the plan for 'Strengthening

Cooperative movement in the Country and Deepening its reach up to the Grassroots' by setting up new

multipurpose PACS or dairy/fishery primary cooperative societies in each uncovered Panchayat/village in the

country as the case may be, and strengthening existing PACS and dairy/fishery cooperatives through convergence

of various identified schemes of Government of India.

In order to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the plan, an Inter-Ministerial Committee

(IMC) and further, a National Level Coordination Committee (NLCC) under the chairmanship of Ministry of

Cooperation has been constituted.

As per Union cabinet approval, the implementation of the plan also requires constitution of the Committees

at State Level and District Level as given below:-

1.

State Cooperation Development Committee (SCDC) at the State level.

2.

District Cooperative Development Committee (DCDC) in each District.

Hence informed as above by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Cooperation, CTP division vide letter

no. R-11016/52/2022-CTP dated-17.03.2023 following committees are constituted.
