NOTIFICATION

The 25th August, 2022

No. DSWD-1/8/2019-1DW/I/415451/2022.- based on the revised pay scales, granted to the different

categories of employees w.e.f 1.1.2006 in the Department of Defence Service Welfare in pursuance of the

recommendations of the Fifth Punjab Pay Commission, further based on the 7th Central Pay Commission and as

per the recommendations of the Committee constituted by the Department of Finance, the Governor of Punjab,

is pleased to grant the following higher revised pay scales as indicated in column No. 4 in respect of following

posts, with immediate effect:-

The grant of the aforesaid revised higher pay scales are subject to the following conditions namely:-

I.

The instructions issued by the Department of Finance vide their circular letter no. 7/204/2015-4F.P.1/60

Dated 15.01.2015 shall be applicable in Toto.

II.

Except the aforesaid Basic Pay, attached to various posts as indicated in column No. 4, the decision

regarding grant of other allowances, shall be taken later on.

This pay matrix shall be applicable only on prospective direct recruitment, provision of which are laid

down in Department of Finance letter No. 7/42/2020-5FP.1/741 dated 17.7.2020

IV.

This issues with the approval given by the Department of Finance as conveyed vide their UO No.

7/92/2020-1FP1/1160 dated 02.11.2020 and UO No.7/92/2020-1FP1/56 dated 15.1.2021
