NOTIFICATION

The 5th July, 2023

No. S.O. 53/C.A.59/1988/S.68/2023.-In supersession of the Government of Punjab,

Department of Transport, Notification No.03/04/2017-4T2/1381, dated the 29th October,

2021 and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 68 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988

(Central Act 59 of 1988), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of

Punjab is pleased to constitute the Regional Transport Authorities, as specified under column

2 of the Table given below, consisting of the State Transport Commissioner, Punjab to exercise

and discharge the powers and functions conferred on such Authority by or under Chapter V

and VI of the said Act, and the rules made thereunder, throughout the area, as specified in

column 3 of the said Table, namely:-
