NOTIFICATION

The 27th September, 2023

No. G.S.R.83/P.A.23/1961/S.43/Amd.(29)/2023.- In exercise of the

powers conferred by section 43 of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets

Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 23 of 1961), and all other powers enabling him in this

behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further

to amend the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board (Group-B) Service

Rules, 1988, namely:-

RULES

1.

(1) These rules may be called the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing

Board (Group-B) (Amendment) Service Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their

publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board (Group-B) Service

Rules, 1988, in Appendix ‘B’, in serial No. 26, under column 5,-

(a)

in item (i), for the words “Bachelor of Arts Degree of ”, the words

“Graduate in any discipline from” shall be substituted;

(b)

in item (ii), for the words “graduate from a recognized University”,

the words “Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university

or institute” shall be substituted;

(c)

in item (iii), for the words “Bachelor of Arts Degree or Bachelor of

Science Agriculture Degree of ”, the words “Graduate in any

discipline from” shall be substituted;

(d)

in item (iv), for the words “Bachelor of Arts Degree or Bachelor of

Science in Agriculture Degree of ”, the words “Graduate in any

discipline from” shall be substituted;

(e)

in item (v), for the words “Bachelor of Arts Degree or Bachelor of

Science in Agriculture Degree of ”, the words “Graduate in any

discipline from” shall be substituted;

(f)

in item (vi), for the words “B.A. Degree or B.Sc. Agriculture Degree

of ”, the words “Graduate in any discipline from” shall be substituted;

and

(g)

in item (viii), for the words “Bachelor of Arts Degree or Bachelor

of Science Agriculture Degree of ”, the words “Graduate in any

discipline from” shall be substituted.
