NOTIFICATION

The 17th October, 2023

No. 7076.–In exercise to powers conferred under Punjab State Minor Mineral Policy, 2023 under the

heading "Review", Clause Start of Concession Period of Punjab State Minor Mineral Policy, 2023 is hereby

amended to read as follows :-

Start of Concession Period

Concession period of the concessionaire shall commence after

I.

One month of award of provisional acceptance; OR

II.

Signing of the contract agreement, obtaining all required clearances attributable to the Contractor,

installation of electronic weighbridge and deposit of the security amount and first quarterly advance

installment,

whichever is earlier.

Provided that the permission of SEIAA to undertake mining in the CMS, whether through EC or

otherwise, has been obtained by the Department in favour of the Concessionaire.

Provided further that where the above permission of SEIAA is obtained after One month of award

of provisional acceptance, the Concession Period shall start from the date on which such permission

is received.

Provided further that the above given provisos will come into effect only if the dues mandated by

SEIAA have been paid by the contractor in time.”
