No. 6/27/2016-3HB3/2288.–In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) (C) of section 5 of
The Punjab Medical Registration Act, 1916 & The Punjab Medical Registration (Amendment) Act, 2010, the
Governor of Punjab is hereby pleased to notify the name of the elected members of the Punjab Medical Council:-

Their appointment shall be subject to provisions of The Punjab Medical Registration Act, 1916 & The
Punjab Medical Registration (Amendment) Act, 2010 and shall continue in the office at the pleasure of
State Government.
3.
Their continuation as a member of the Council shall be subject to such terms and conditions as may be
prescribed from time to time.
4.
During their tenure as a member they will not indulge in any act which may be detrimental to the interest
of Council and State Government.
