NOTIFICATION

The 2nd November, 2023

No. Labour-Lab0MISC/64/2021-5L/1335-38.–To enable the employees who are voters of State of

Rajasthan, working in the factories situated in the State of Punjab, to cast their votes in General Elections to

Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan, it is considered in public interest to declare 25th November, 2023 as a paid

holiday in the State of Punjab.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 65 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act

LXIII of 1948) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to fix

Saturday, falling on 25th November, 2023 to be a 'closed day' for the employees who are voters of Rajasthan

working in Factories in the State of Punjab. However, 25th November, 2023 (Saturday) shall not be a 'closed

day' in lieu of weekly off falling between 22nd November, 2023 and 28th November, 2023 on account of General

Elections to Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan 2023 in the State of Rajasthan.
