NOTIFICATION
The 11th December, 2023
No. WR-IRWR04/30/2023-IW3/433(1).–In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 55 of
the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act of 1873 read with Section 3 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor of
Punjab is pleased to notify the Khasra numbers as per the details given in this notification as the areas which
cause obstruction in smooth flow of water in Kala Singha Drain. The Governor, Punjab is further pleased to
authorize the Executive Engineer, Jalandhar, Drainage-cum-Mining, WRD, Punjab, district, Jalandhar to take all
necessary actions to remove such obstructions in case such an obstruction is raised by any person. The concerned
Executive Engineer, Jalandhar, Drainage-cum-Mining, WRD, Punjab, district, Jalandhar may also authorize any
other government officer or any private person to remove such obstructions or carry out any activities for the
aforesaid purpose.
