NOTIFICATION

The 6th December, 2023

No.26/6/17-Agri4(6)/16983.-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of section 2 of the

Punjab Public Moneys ( Recovery of Dues) Act, 1983 (Punjab Act 1 of 1985 ) and all other powers enabling him

in his behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to specify that the Punjab Agro Food Grains Corporation

Limited, is a Corporation for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, and is further pleased to authorize the Managing

Director of the said Corporation under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act, to send a certificate to the

Collector duly mentioning the sum due from any person and requesting him to recover such sum together with

the cost of proceedings, as if it were an arrears of land revenue.
