NOTIFICATION

The 1st January, 2024

No. S.O. 6/C.A.2/1899/S.9/2024.- In exercise of the powers

conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp

Act, 1899 (Central Act No.2 of 1899), and all other powers enabling him in this

behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to remit the duty in whole, chargeable

under Schedule 1-A appended to the said Act, on the instruments of registration

or lease of the land, as the case may be, by the units to whom a Certificate of

Eligibility has been issued by the Competent Authority, under clause 12.8(B)(8),

12.9.3, 12.10.1(3), 12.11.5(6) of the Industrial and Business Development Policy,

2022, whichever applicable.
