NOTIFICATION

The 14th March, 2024

No. S.O. 18/P.A.10/2020/S.3/2024.-In supersession of the Government

of Punjab, Department of Jails (Jails Branch) Notification No. 1/75/2016-1J/

1435, dated the 8th September, 2020 and in exercise of the powers conferred

by clause (i) of sub-section (4) of section 3 of the Punjab Prisons Development

Board Act, 2020 (Punjab Act No. 10 of 2020), and all other powers enabling

him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to nominate Sh. Nishan

Chahal S/o Sh. Mangal Singh, Village Bolewal, Tehsil Batala, District Gurdaspur

as non-official Member of the Punjab Prisons Development Board, with

immediate effect.

The terms and conditions of the non-official Member(s) shall be issued

later on.

No. S.O. 19/P.A.9/1994/S.2/2024.-In exercise of the powers conferred

by clause (c) of section 2 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Punjab Act

No. 9 of 1994) , and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor

of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in the Government of

Punjab, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Notification No.

S.O. 22/P.A.9/1994/S.2/2013, dated the 15th March, 2013, namely:-

conferred by section 96 of the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017

(Punjab Act No.5 of 2017), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf,

the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in the

Government of Punjab, Department of Excise and Taxation, Notification No.

S.O.31/P.A.5/2017/S.96/2021, dated the 30th March, 2021 namely: -
