NOTIFICATION

The 11th November, 2022

No. TRAN-TRP202/4/2022-2TN2/1353.-In pursuance of rule 3(1)(b) and 3(1)(i) of The Motor

Vehicles (Registration and Functions of Vehicle Scrapping Facility) Rules, 2021 notified by Ministry of Road

Transport & Highways, Government of India vide notification no. G.S.R. 653(E) dated 23.09.2021, the Governor

of Punjab is pleased to notify the Administrative Secretary, Department of Transport as the Appellate Authority

and the State Transport Commissioner, Punjab as the Registration Authority for the purpose of implementation

of afore- mentioned rules in the State of Punjab.

This notification will come to force with immediate effect.
