NOTIFICATION

The 8th May, 2024

No.PERS-IAS0CFP/2/2020-3-S/698.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 21 of the Code

of Criminal Procedure, 1973, (Central Act No. 2 of 1974), the Governor of Punjab is hereby pleased to confer

upon them the powers of Executive Magistrate to the Supervisory Officers or Sector Officers appointed by the

District Election Officer/Assistant Returning Officer, to be known as Special Executive Magistrate, for

maintenance of law and order during General Elections to Lok Sabha-2024, in the area of jurisdiction, from the

date of notification till the completion of election process in the State of Punjab.
