NOTIFICATION

The 30th October, 2024

No. S.O. 69/P.A.8/2005/S.3/2024.- In supersession of the

Government of Punjab, Department of Excise and Taxation, Notification No.

S.O. 8/P.A.8/2005/S.3/2024, dated the 8th February, 2024 and in exercise of

the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Punjab Value

Added Tax Act, 2005 (Punjab Act. 8 of 2005), and all other powers enabling

him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to appoint Shri Varun

Roojam, I.A.S., as Taxation Commissioner for the purposes of the said Act,

on and with effect from the 01st March, 2024 i.e. the date, he assumed the

charge as such.

NOTIFICATION

The 30th October, 2024

No. S.O. 70/P.A.5/2017/S.3/2024.– In supersession of the

Government of Punjab, Department of Excise and Taxation, Notification No.

S.O.7/ P.A.5/2017/S.3/2024, dated the 8th February, 2024 and in exercise of

the powers conferred by section 3 read with section 5 of the Punjab Goods

and Service Tax Act, 2017 (Punjab Act. 5 of 2017), and all other powers

enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to appoint Shri

Varun Roojam, I.A.S., as Commissioner of State Tax for the purposes of the

said Act, on and with effect from the 01th March, 2024 i.e. the date, he assumed

the charge as such.
