NOTIFICATION

The 12th July, 2023

No.PERS-IAS0CFP/2/2020-3-S/492.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 21 of the Code

of Criminal Procedure, 1973, (Central Act No.2 of 1974), the Governor of Punjab is hereby pleased to further

authorize the Deputy Commissioners in the State of Punjab to appoint the Gazetted Officers in the State of

Punjab, drawing the pay in Level-16 or above (as per 6th PPC) as an Executive Magistrate to be known as

Special Executive Magistrate for maintanance of law and order with regard to the situation arising out of critical

issues in the State of Punjab, beyond 30-06-2023 upto 31-12-2023.
