NOTIFICATION
The 24th December, 2024
No. WR-IRWR04/37/2023-IW3/3642.–In exercise of the powers conferred under section 55 of
the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act of 1873 read with section 3 of the aforesaid act. The Governor of
Punjab is pleased to notify the Khasra number as per the details given in this notification as the areas which
cause obstruction in smooth flow of water in Khanpur drain. The Governor, Punjab is further pleased to
authorize the Executive Engineer, Rupnagar, Drainage-cum-Mining & Geology Division Water Resources
Department, Punjab, Rupnagar to take all necessary action to remove such obstructions in case such an
obstruction is raised by any person. The concerned officer i.e. Executive Engineer, Rupnagar, Drainage-cum-
Mining & Geology Division Water Resources Department, Punjab, Rupnagar may also authorize any other
government officer or any private person to remove such obstructions or carry out any activities for the
aforesaid purpose.
