ORDER

No. P.A.9/1994/S.178-A/2025/6153.- Whereas the Zila Parishad(s) mentioned in column 2 of the Schedule

given below, has completed term of the five years as per section 166 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act,1994 (Punjab

Act No. 9 of 1994) from the date mentioned in column 3 of the said Schedule. Hence, the State Government

considers it necessary to dissolve the Zila Parishad, in public interest, on completion of its term.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 178-A of the aforesaid Act, and all

other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to dissolve the Zila Parishad, with effect

from the date, the Zila Parishad(s) has completed the term of five years as given in column 4 of the said Schedule and

is further pleased to appoint the person(s) as specified in column 5 of the said Schedule, as Administrator(s) to

exercise all powers and duties of the Zila Parishad(s), so dissolved, during the period of its dissolution, namely:-
