NOTIFICATION

The 10th March, 2023

No.13/07/2023-IAS (8)/187.- In pursuance of the notification No. 6/4/2022-4EL/36, dated 24.02.2023

issued by the Department of Elections (Local Bodies Election Wing), Sh. Raj Kamal Chaudhuri, IAS has joined

as State Election Commissioner, Punjab on dated 24.02.2023 (A.N). Therefore, the officer is now deemed to

have retired from the Indian Administrative Services w.e.f.24.02.2023 (A.N).

Keeping in view the appointment of the officer, the condition of notice of three months for voluntary

retirement as required under Rule 16(2) of the All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules,

1958, is waived off.
