NOTIFICATION

The 22^nd January, 2025

No. S.O. 6164 /P.A.9/1994/S.98/2025.-Whereas, consequent upon the re-delimitation of the Block

Ajnala in District Amritsar, a new Block, namely, Block Ramdas has been carved out vide Government of

Punjab, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Notification No. S.O.19/P.A.9./1994/S.2/2024,

dated 15th March, 2024.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (4) of section 98

of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Punjab Act 9 of 1994), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf,

the Governor of Punjab is pleased to direct that the Panchayat Samitis for Blocks Ajnala and Ramdas in

District Amritsar be constituted from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
