NOTIFICATION

The 25th February, 2025

No. WR-IRWR014/3/2024-IW2/685.–The Governor of Punjab is pleased to substitute the sub clauses

(xii) and (xv) of Para 3 of the Policy on Construction of Water Storage Ponds for Water Conservation, 2024,

issued vide notification No. WR-IRWR014/3/2024-IW2, Dated 30.01.2024, as given below:

“(xii) If any disposal of the earth takes place then the successful bidder will have to deposit the requisite

charges of mining as admissible from time to time to the concerned District Mining Officer.

(xv) The Agency/individual/Limited and Cooperative Societies will get the money deposited with the

Department of Water Resources and the respective Executive Engineer/Canals will thereafter

lay the pipeline. The estimate of the pipeline and other structures etc., shall be prepared and the

Agency/individual/Limited and Cooperative Societies, will accordingly deposit the money with

Department of Water Resources.”
