NOTIFICATION

The 4th February, 2025

No 05/8/2025-1LG4/75.- The Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute a State Level

Sanctioning cum Monitoring Committee (SLSMC), under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary,

Punjab, for the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, 2.0 in the State, in pursuance of

the Operational Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, under PMAY-Urban

2.0 with the following members:

1. Chief Secretary, Punjab

Chairman

2. Administrative Secretary, Department of Local Government

Vice Chairman

3. Administrative Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban Development

Co-Vice Chairman

4. Administrative Secretary, Department of Finance

Member

5. Administrative Secretary, Department of Revenue

Member

6. Administrative Secretary Department of Environment

Member

7. Administrative Secretary, Department of Power

Member

8. Administrative Secretary, Department of Water Supply and Sanitation

Member

9. Convener, State Level Banker's Committee

Member

10. Director, Department of Town and Country Planning

The Chairman of the SLSMC shall have the authority to co-opt any other member or invite special invitees to

the meeting of the SLSMC as and when need arises.

Functions of State-Level Sanctioning & Monitoring Committee

SLSMC shall be in charge of the overall implementation of the scheme including the following:

1.

Approval of DPRs in AHP, ARH, and Project details of BLC along with list of beneficiaries under the

Mission.

2.

Approval of Annual Quality Monitoring Plans.

3.

Reviewing progress of approved projects in the State and cities.

4.

Monitoring of overall implementation of the Mission.

5.

Approval of Annual Capacity Building Plans as per Scheme Guidelines.

6.

Appraisal/Approval of ATRs on TPQMA and sócial audit.

7.

Identification and approval for utilization of Government Land of any department for the construction of

affordable housing under this policy, if land of ULB/ Special Development Authority is not available or

more land is required.

8.

Any other issues required for effective implementation of the scheme.
