further authorised to get this planning done expeditiously and in such a way that would ensure maximum

convenience to the people and generate good and reasonable revenue for the Department by way of auctioning

of these sites after getting their reserve price fixed from Deputy Commissioner in the District Price Fixation

Committee.

2.

The proceeds from the disposal of these developed pockets shall be deposited in a dedicated EWS

account and will be used as per the provisions of the notification No. 17/04/2016-Hg2/1280 dated 24.05.2016,

including costs incurred on any acquisitions/development for such land, as may be separately provided to

develop EWS plots/houses.

3.

The Chief Administrators will identify and acquire separate chunks of land measuring at least 500

acres each for Mohali and Ludhiana and at least 100 acres each for Bathinda, Jalandhar, Patiala and Amritsar.
