NOTIFICATION

The 25th March, 2025

No.S.O.22/PWR/2018/R.35/2025.- In exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-rule (9) of rule 35 of the Punjab Waqf Rules, 2018, and all

other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to

notify the election of SH. MOHAMMAD OWAIS S/O SH.

MOHAMMAD ABDUL RAOOF, H.NO.C-8/0250, REHMAN

NAGAR, LUDHIANA ROAD, BACKSIDE RADHA SOAMI

SATSANG, MALERKOTLA, DISTRICT MALERKOTLA as

Chairperson of the Punjab Waqf Board, held during the first meeting of the

said Board on 13th March, 2025, in accordance with sub-section (8) of section

14 of the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act No. 43 of 1995) read with rule 35 of the

said rules of 2018.
