NOTIFICATION

The 22nd December, 2025

No. 1/2/2013-T;5/3079.-In partial modification of the Government of Punjab, Department of Power,

Notification No. 1/9/08-EB(PR)/239 dated 16th April, 2010 and Notification No. 1/2/2013-T;5/839 dated 22nd

December, 2017, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in the Annexure, with

immediate effect, namely: -

AMENDMENT

In the said Notification under the heading “Annexure”, the existing qualifications and experience for

appointment as Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited as

mentioned at A 1) ii) i.e.

“The State Government may appoint an IAS officer, who has served/is serving in the rank of Principal

Secretary/Financial Commissioner, whether in service or retired, to the post of Chairman-cum-Managing

Director, PSPCL.”

shall be substituted as per the following:-

“The State Government may appoint an IAS officer, who has served/is serving in the rank of Secretary

or above, whether in service or retired, to the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, PSPCL.”
